From thoughts to words

A while back when I thought of writing these words
the ones I’m about to write
they sounded fine
if I may say so
and I am not easy to please.
but now
the words are lifeless as they fall upon the page
same as my thoughts
Blah, blah, blah
Not much else

  1. Parmis,
I had to laugh at this because I relate to it so much. Sometimes the words FEEL SO RIGHT. But later I read them and think “Ouch. I have to change this.”
Keep writing. You are a true poet. 🙂
